Hard to believe that Buffalo Wings made the scene back in the ‘80’s. They were new, but pretty basic with not much flavor. Warm, hot and HOT!
Black Buffalo was born through countless attempts and failures to conceive the Original Black Buffalo recipe. First tried and tested with a small circle of friends and family members through multiple family BBQ’s and events until perfected.
Word spread and we (me and the wings) were the stars of many holiday parties, including Fourth Of July and New Years were the biggest.
I did not expect what would happen next. I started bottling it on a small scale only to learn people were now using it for all kinds of food. What started as a Wing Sauce, was now being used for ribs, burgers, and shrimp. We’ve marinated steaks with Black Buffalo. You could put it on pretty much anything you want.This was a side hustle that needed to spread its wings, so to speak.
